Project Managers

Working in a fast-paced environment, reporting direct to the Head of Delivery the PM is responsible for delivering multiple short-term data projects (bespoke reports, simulations) and longer-term software projects (bespoke tools, mobile apps). Candidates will need to document and maintain project plans and work to strict deadlines. 

They will need to work with the Business Analyst to understand client requirements and work with the various delivery team units to deliver the solution, while maintaining project governance (communication plans, status reports, risk logs etc.) throughout.


We look for candidates with
  • Experience of delivering projects to external clients.
  • Prince 2 and Agile experience.
  • Data analysis experience – esp. healthcare.
  • Consultancy and strong project delivery mindset
  • Good mathematical / logical thought process required. Will work with numbers / data in detail as part of the role
  • Strong PM governance to a recognised standard such as PRINCE2 Proven ability to run multiple projects concurrently




 
 
 

Analysts/Modellers

Our Analyst and Modeller roles are key within the information team and are responsible for the provision of high quality information reporting to clients in a timely manner, adhering to agreed project objectives and timeframes.

Analysts work with the Lead Analyst and other Health IQ stakeholders to ensure that reports are produced from a detailed requirements and functional specifications as set out by the Business Analyst, Project Manager and the client.

Simulation Analysts work with the Lead Simulation Analyst and other Health IQ stakeholders to ensure that simulation models are developed from detailed requirements and functional specifications as set out by the Business Analyst, Project Manager and the client.

We look for candidates with experience in
  • Healthcare informatics
  • A strong academic background in computer science, mathematics and/or statistics (2:1 minimum)
  • Strong technical skills SQL, VBA and Excel, including pivot tables etc
  • Varied tools such as a tableau, Kibana etc
  • Used to working to tight timescales with accurate results
  • Good working knowledge of IT, information and decision support tools relevant to the role
  • Advanced developer knowledge of key IT, information and decision support tools
  • Experience with discrete event simulation software, preferably SIMUL8, is advantageous
  • Experience of working in a project driven environment
  • Used to working to tight timescales with accurate results

  • Accurate and quick data entry skills

Java Developers

Our Java Developers contribute to the design, installation, testing and maintenance of core business systems and provide guidance and support to less experienced developers.

As a developer, you will write code, SQL queries and unit tests for Enterprise Web Applications, develop data cleansing tools, fixing bugs, working on specs and conducting code reviews and testing. You will be thorough in planning, focused on quality and detail oriented in delivery. You will deliver an end to end solution on high level requirement. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving incidents, interacting with internal staffs where appropriate. You must be comfortable with deploying the changes into test and production in a continuous integration environment.

You will perform ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement.

We look for candidates with experience in
  • Web application development in Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Bootstrap, HTML5 and jQuery
  • Competency in Object Orientated Programming and associated concepts.
  • High competency in Databases (e.g. PostgresSQL, MySQL) and related concepts.
  • Competent in delivering end to end solutions from high level requirement.
  • Continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Version Control Software (GIT).
  • Agile methodologies - test driven development.
  • Competent in Linux infrastructure and cloud computing.
  • Good understanding in Data Security and compliances.



 
 
 

Business Development

Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, the role of the Business Development Executive is to support the company in meeting its revenue targets by generating leads and securing sales for Health Informatics services.

This will be achieved through direct sales, including cold calling with new and existing customer groups, in co-ordination with internal stakeholders.

We look for candidates with experience in
  • Healthcare informatics
  • 12 months B2B sales (including lead generation responsibilities).
  • Experience of selling products or services to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Selling of health informatics / information services to the NHS, healthcare and/ or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proposal development.
  • Pitching for and winning business at the £10-£50k level.
  • Educated to degree level
