Jilani Gulam

CEO Chief Executive Officer

Jilani is a technologist, with a passion for big software delivery. He is recognised in both the media and healthcare sectors as a true innovator, bringing to market many products that were genuinely game changing, but are now established names. Amongst some of his deliveries include the award winning and sector defining BBC iPlayer, the first television business intelligence platform for the WPP Group (Arianna), the first RFID patient tracking system for Great Ormond Street Hospital, revolutionising patient flow and equipment monitoring. Most recently he has been instrumental in delivering Vantage, utilising cutting edge data and technology integration.

As a founding director and CEO, he has helped commercialise Health iQ’s genuine data and technology expertise and develop the overall Health iQ proposition to establish itself as the leader in real world evidence solutions within the market access space. He is regarded as a thought leader within the health-tech space and is regularly consulted for opinions in an advisory capacity.

Yasir Hassan

CIO Chief Information Officer

Yasir is a recognised specialist in healthcare data and informatics, with an industry-wide reputation as one of the leaders in this field. He has worked at director-level across Acute Trust, PCT, Mental Health and SHA organisations, building a broad knowledge of the healthcare data that is second to none. He has led the informatics work on some of the largest projects in recent history, including ‘Healthcare for London’ and the ‘Information Revolution’. He has written in numerous industry publications, providing insight into the use of data in healthcare.

As a founding director of Health iQ, Yasir’s unique insight into ‘Real World Data’ has proven invaluable to a sector that craves data in order to prove outcomes, and helped differentiate the company through its unmatched expertise with data. He has also managed a successful expansion into bespoke development, producing a number of market-leading products such as Vantage, LinQ and PharmaSim.

Perry Jennings

COO Chief Operating Officer

Having spent 25 years of his career in Banking, legal and Financial Services at National Westminster Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Allen & Overy LLP, CAF Bank & BUPA. Perry gained a reputation for operational excellence, managing large geographically dispersed teams, running business critical 24/7 services.

Over the past 5 years Perry has brought that experience into the health sector, underpinning operational excellence with the delivery of large transformation programmes.

Perry has worked with prestigious and world leading organisations such as Chelsea & Westminster, The Royal Marsden, West Middlesex Hospital, Great Western Hospitals, Moorfields Eye Hospital, and Bupa Care Services, predominately at director level before joining at Health iQ in 2018.

Customer centric and passionate about service Perry is ITIL qualified to expert level.

Rebeka McClintock

AD Accounts Director

Rebeka was named Digital Project Manager of the Year at the PM Society Awards 2014 and was instrumental in the development of the Vantage Big Data system. She is a specialist in developing discrete event simulation models and real world evidence studies in a wide range of therapy areas from Respiratory and Immunology to Oncology and Endocrinology. Her successes span modeling oncology pathways for NHS service transformation to developing digital Patient Reported Outcomes Measures for Parkinsons to quantifying the burden of allergic Asthma to designing predictive modeling approaches in CNS to demonstrating the increasing prevalence of Chronic Migraine using real world healthcare data.

She has a 1st class Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton and currently works with major life science accounts at levels ranging from Global to local affiliate utilising real world evidence for successful pharmaceutical Market Access.

Lenka Ellmann

Finance Director

Lenka is an experienced and highly motivated ACCA qualified executive with a hands on approach to running finance and non-finance teams.

She has expertise and passion for Private Equity backed SME’s, worked at director’s level in various commercial organizations and has in depth experience from a number of different industries spanning from PR film industry, iconic architecture practice to long and successful career in apparel and consumer goods organisations.

Lenka was brought in to build on the current commercial success of Health IQ and to support and strengthen the executive team on commercial and strategic level.

Kate Walsh

HR Director

Kate has over 15 years’ experience in HR, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development roles and specialises in working with SMEs to develop and implement programmes to attract, retain and develop high quality staff.

Kate spent the early part of her HR career working for large advertising agencies within the WPP and Omnicom networks, where key achievements included receiving the CPD Gold award for professional development standards from the IPA, successfully managing complex employee change programmes, international training workshops and large-scale graduate recruitment processes. In 2015 Kate moved into the property sector to establish the HR function for a real estate firm based in Canary Wharf.

Kate has a degree in History from the University of Sheffield and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, having completed a postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at London Metropolitan University in 2009.

Meena Sebastian

Sales Director

Meena is a high performing sales leader who has worked with a number of organisations over her career to deliver double-digit growth, most recently at Health Service Journal.

This background in health and social care policy enables her to advise our clients of the upcoming challenges facing them with the constant changes affecting the healthcare landscape.

She has a passion for organisational change and has worked on a number of innovative projects such as the first crowdsourcing hackathon experiment, the Change Challenge led by NHS Improving Quality with Helen Bevan.

Inspired by her work with NHS England & Improvement launching the first HSJ Award for Workplace Race Equality, she raised the importance of the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda with the board at Wilmington plc and worked closely with the CEO to set up an EDI Steering Group in 2020.
